Lockport Police introduce a new look
Black and White Patrol Vehicles

In an effort to make our patrol cars more readily visible to the general public and more recognizable as a police car, the Lockport Police Department is implementing a new look. Studies have shown that the alternating light and dark colored patrol vehicles are more visible in situations involving low light or high illumination.

Our new color scheme will also help in reducing accidents by being more visible at intersections. Police response to other types of service calls will be safer as well, because the vehicles are more visible to other drivers.
